Her little life was turned upside down when she and her family suddenly had to move into Ronald McDonald House in Westmead to begin a very long chemotherapy treatment – in fact, she spent one year away from home undergoing a very intense treatment regime, which is recently completed.

Although still receiving care, Isla is now at home where she belongs, and is on an oral treatment for the next 12 months.

Recently, Isla and her family enjoyed an amazing two night stay at Taronga Zoo’s Wildlife Retreat, where they had full access to the zoo, enjoyed a Koala and Giraffe experience and were given the VIP treatment they so deserved. Isla’s stay was fully funded by one of our corporate partners, Tax & Co, who went above and beyond to make sure this little family had the best time and made the best memories together.
