Our Story
In 2004, three aussie blokes were playing golf and through a simple conversation, made a commitment. A commitment, underpinned by mateship.
Neither Steve, George nor Charlie had kids at that point, just a shared experience of an upbringing filled with good health, a strong sense of family and an abundant network of mates.
They had an overwhelming sense they could contribute more – and that’s exactly what they set out to do.
Our Mission
To provide children with unforgettable experiences when time is precious.
Mates on a Mission offers children with a life threatening illness, and their families, unforgettable experiences. We do this through interstate holidays, local getaways and other experiences, all tailored to the interest and dreams of each child.
Through our network of mates, we work closely with children and their families across their entire journey.
