Arista suffers from Mirage Syndrome. An acronym for the major findings of myelodysplasia, infection, restriction of growth, adrenal hypoplasia, genital phenotypes, and enteropathy. Arista has been unwell since birth, with frequent admissions to hospital. She is a true fighter.
Arista Mansouri and her family were booked to spend 1 week in Manly in January this year. The night before their Making Memories experience, Arista ended up in hospital and has been there ever since. MOAM have been able to offer alternate support in the form of toys and gift vouchers.
