Tonight, you became part of something bigger.
These sunflower seeds are a small reminder that when we choose to give, to care and to stand beside one another, hope grows.
At Mates on a Mission, your support helps us create moments of joy, connection and precious memories for families facing a child’s life-threatening illness.
Plant these seeds, watch them grow and remember the difference that can begin with one small act of kindness.
Thank you for standing beside our families.
Thank you for helping memories grow.
Thank you for choosing to grow hope.
Timing: Plant in late spring or early summer when the danger of frost has passed and the soil warms up.
Location: Pick a spot with full sun (6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily) and good drainage.
Depth & Placement: Push seeds 1 to 2 cm deep into the soil. Place the pointy end of the seed facing downward for a faster start.
Spacing: Space about 30 cm apart.
Watering: Water the soil thoroughly after planting and keep it consistently moist, but never waterlogged, until germination occurs in 7 to 14 days.
May these sunflowers grow as a reminder that hope can be planted anywhere … and tonight, you helped us plant a little more of it.
We are SO grateful for you.
